here we go again.. the arcadia quilt for my parents, second try.
this time with cotton batting because the first one bearded like hell. after unpicking the first version (sigh) i put it together as careful as possible. Anyhow, it got a little smaller at the sides because top and back were already cut to the same size. a bit wonkier, too, because i streched the fabric a quite a bit to fit both parts together.

i did a little more quilting than on the first try: straight horizontal lines, again, plus some squares and extra lines at the sides.

although it was quite a lot of work i must say i am happy i did it because the quilt is much better now: it´s not bearding anymore, quite soft and my quilting is certainly better than the first try.
it is just too bad it won´t be as warm and light as with a wool batting..

Your quilt is lovely. Did you use yardage or jelly rolls? I have an arcadia jelly roll and two charm packs I can't wait to use. Nice job!
