squares quilt - done

My friend in Berlin got her birthday-quilt so now i can show it here, too. remember, this is the one who got her last years presents very late. however, those pillows will match this quilt surprisingly.. :-)

i actually made this in August, and it´s my very own design.
lots of essex cotton plus some classic Amy Butler Wallflower in red plus some Kona cotton solid in red. sweet and simple.

i quilted this one quite heavily and it turned out very fluffy and crincly. love!


still not sure which side i prefer..
i was going for modern and elegant and got that i think.
